Meet Elisa

Hello,

I'm Elisa Southon. I run the administration inside allied health and NDIS practices — claims and billing, participant records, service agreements, plan rollovers, funding tracking — and while I'm doing it, I build the system underneath it.

My background is legal, finance and banking: twenty years of work where the details are checkable and getting them wrong has consequences. That's where the habits came from. Through 2026 I've been building AI-driven systems inside live operations, which is a different job from advising on them from the outside.

Most of my clients are allied health and NDIS practices, and that's where I'm deepest. It isn't only that. The same method runs a photography studio's client pipeline or a professional firm's billing. If your business runs on bookings, client records and invoices, and it has outgrown the way you first set it up, that's the shape I work in.

Southon Business was inspired by my grandparents and their TV repair shop in Broken Hill, in outback New South Wales, in the 1980s. What I took from it is that a small business either has a system or has a person holding it together — and the second one only works until that person is unavailable.

Outside work you'll find me in the garden with my cats, Duke, Holland and Inika.
